The competition is open to children between 7 and 16 years living in Alton and North East Hampshire.

There will be two categories for entry; Key Stage 2 and Key Stages 3 & 4. ( Age 7 to 11, those in primary school and 11 to 16 for those at secondary).

Entrants will be required to write a short extract in no more than 800 words on the theme (top of page) of this year’s competition.

Entries must be received by 1pm on Monday 3rd October at Amery Hill School OR at Alton Community Centre, Amery St, Alton, GU34 1HN.

1st Prize: £25 Book Token

There will also be a certificate for entries that are highly commended.

To download the entry form, click on the button below or from your school. Winners will be invited to receive their prize at the Presentation evening on Friday 7th October at Alton Community Centre. The evening commences at 6.30pm and admission is free.
